QA Automation Engineer - Python/PyTest

Description :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and Pytest

- Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, and integration testing

- Conduct database testing using SQL to validate backend data integrity

- Implement and enforce QA best practices and automation standards

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables

- Identify, track, and report defects, providing detailed documentation for efficient resolution

- Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability

- Participate in code reviews, test plan reviews, and provide technical guidance to junior QA engineers

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and automation

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing and QA engineering

- Strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and Pytest

- Experience with database testing using SQL

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests

- Strong understanding of QA best practices, test strategy, and test design techniques

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with API automation testing (REST/SOAP)

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments

- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and test management tools

- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers
