We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API automation testing and behavior-driven development frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the Karate framework, Java, REST API testing, and automation best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for web services and APIs.

- Build and execute automation test suites using the Karate framework.

- Perform REST API testing using tools and frameworks such as Rest Assured.

- Develop and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.

- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Identify, document, track, and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Participate in CI/CD pipeline integration and ensure automation execution in build deployments.

- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with actionable insights.

- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.

- Strong hands-on experience with the Karate automation framework.

- Proficiency in Java programming.

- Experience working with Cucumber (BDD framework).

- Solid experience in REST API testing.

- Hands-on experience with Rest Assured.

- Good understanding of test automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Exposure to performance or integration testing is an added advantage.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
