Role Overview :

As a QA Automation Engineer based in our Gurgaon office, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-quality automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, automate regression suites, and uphold rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks using Java or Python to reduce manual testing efforts and accelerate release cycles.

- Execute comprehensive API testing to validate backend services and ensure seamless integration across distributed system components.

- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring early detection of defects.

- Conduct performance testing to identify system limitations and optimize application responsiveness under varying load conditions.

- Manage test scripts and version control effectively using Git to maintain code integrity and facilitate team collaboration.

- Write complex SQL queries to verify data consistency and integrity within the database layer during the testing lifecycle.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies to provide quality insights and ensure that testing requirements are aligned with sprint goals.

- 6 days a week.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in building automation scripts using Selenium with either Java or Python.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API testing methodologies and tools to validate service-oriented architectures.

- Proven ability to manage CI/CD workflows and Jenkins configurations to support continuous testing environments.

- Expertise in SQL for backend data validation and performance monitoring of database-heavy applications.

- Proficiency in Docker for containerized testing environments.

- Ability to thrive in an Agile environment, communicating technical quality metrics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and suggest architectural improvements.

- Candidates must possess 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in software quality assurance and automation.

- Must be comfortable working from our Gurgaon office, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment.
