We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in both Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Selenium Automation, API Testing, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Cucumber Framework. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications and APIs through comprehensive testing strategies.

- The candidate will participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and automation scripts.

- The role requires strong experience in Manual Testing, including requirement analysis, test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect reporting, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.

- The candidate should be capable of identifying functional and non-functional defects and providing detailed documentation to facilitate issue resolution.

- The candidate should possess strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver for automating web applications.

- They should be able to design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable automation frameworks that support continuous testing and rapid release cycles.

- Experience with data-driven, keyword-driven, hybrid, or BDD-based automation frameworks is highly desirable.

- Hands-on experience in API Testing is mandatory.

- The candidate should be proficient in validating RESTful and SOAP web services using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, or similar technologies. They should be capable of verifying request and response payloads, validating business logic, testing authentication mechanisms, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

- The candidate should have practical experience working with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies using Cucumber.

- They should be able to write clear and reusable feature files using Gherkin syntax, collaborate with business teams to define acceptance criteria, and automate business scenarios using Cucumber frameworks.

- A strong understanding of test automation best practices, coding standards, and framework design principles is expected.

- The candidate should be comfortable integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and executing automated tests as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.

- The ideal candidate should have experience working with Agile and Scrum methodologies. They will actively participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives while ensuring quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

- The candidate should possess excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and be capable of performing root cause analysis for defects and production issues. Experience in defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar platforms is highly preferred.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role requires regular interaction with developers, product managers, business users, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in Manual Testing.

- Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver Automation.

- Experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

- Strong knowledge of BDD Frameworks and Cucumber.

- Experience writing automation scripts using Java or other object-oriented programming languages.

- Knowledge of Test Case Design Techniques and Defect Management.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills :

- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- SQL and Database Testing.

- TestNG or JUnit Frameworks.

- Version Control Systems such as Git.

- Performance and Security Testing exposure.

- Cloud-based testing experience.

Experience Required :

- 5 - 6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.

- Proven experience in Selenium, API Automation, BDD, and Cucumber Frameworks.
