Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python Web Scraping Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web scraping solutions to extract valuable data from diverse online sources. You will collaborate closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver high-quality, reliable data feeds that drive business decisions and improve our clients' outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement efficient and scalable web scraping solutions using Python and relevant libraries like Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, and Selenium for various client projects.

- Develop and maintain web crawlers to systematically gather data from target websites, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for downstream analysis.

- Implement robust error handling and data validation mechanisms to ensure the quality and reliability of extracted data, minimizing data discrepancies for informed decision-making.

- Optimize scraping processes for speed and efficiency, minimizing resource consumption and maximizing data throughput for timely delivery of insights.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to develop and deploy web scraping solutions using Python, demonstrating expertise in libraries such as Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, and Selenium.

- Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols, enabling effective data extraction from complex websites.

- Experience with database technologies, particularly SQL, for storing, querying, and managing scraped data, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement web crawling strategies, including handling pagination, dynamic content, and anti-scraping measures.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues related to web scraping and data quality.
