Python Test Automation Engineer - Robot Framework

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Python Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in developing automated test frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, a deep understanding of networking and wireless protocols, and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks. This is a crucial role for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust and efficient testing.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Python.

Frameworks :

- Utilize and contribute to common test automation frameworks like Pytest, PyATS, or Robot Framework.

Networking :

- Apply your strong experience in testing L2/L3 Networking and Wireless protocols.

API Development :

- Use your knowledge of the Flask framework to build and automate API tests.

Version Control :

- Manage and maintain code using version control systems such as Git.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality product releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 2.5 - 10 years of experience as a Python Developer, with a focus on test automation.

Automation :

- Expertise in test automation using frameworks like Pytest, PyATS, or Robot Framework.

Networking :

- Strong experience with L2/L3 Networking and Wireless protocols.

Frameworks :

- Knowledge of the Flask framework and experience with API automation.

Tools :

- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
