We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong SQL expertise and solid backend engineering skills. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable applications, working with databases like PostgreSQL, and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance Python applications

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code with strong logic and structure

- Implement robust exception handling and error management strategies

- Develop and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL

- Work with ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy for database interactions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

- Debug and resolve complex technical issues across environments

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments

- Manage version control using GitLab and follow best practices for code management

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development

- Strong understanding of Python programming concepts, data structures, and logic

- Expertise in exception handling and debugging techniques

- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases

- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL

- Proficiency in SQLAlchemy or similar ORM frameworks

- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline implementation

- Strong working knowledge of GitLab (version control, branching strategies, merge requests)

- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems efficiently

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have :

- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization

- Exposure to automated testing frameworks

- Knowledge of security best practices in backend development

Resources should be willing to work all 5 days from client office and on 2nd shift ( 2:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m IST )
