Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications using Python.

- Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Flask, FastAPI, or Django.

- Develop scalable and secure web services for enterprise applications.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and DevOps engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

- Implement unit testing, integration testing, and automated deployment pipelines.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Follow Agile development methodologies and participate in sprint ceremonies.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and software engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python.

- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as:

1. FastAPI

2. Flask

3. Django

- Strong experience in REST API development and integration.

- Expertise in Microservices Architecture.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

- Experience with asynchronous programming and API optimization.

- Knowledge of API security standards including OAuth2, JWT, and authentication mechanisms.

- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

Database Technologies:

1. PostgreSQL

2. MySQL

3. MongoDB

4. Redis

Cloud & DevOps:

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

Additional Skills:

- Understanding of software design patterns and architecture principles.

- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SQS.

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.

- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like PyTest or UnitTest.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience developing enterprise-scale SaaS applications.

- Exposure to AI/ML integration projects.

- Experience with event-driven architecture.

- Familiarity with serverless technologies.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
