Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned Python Full Stack Engineer with strong backend expertise in Django and hands-on experience in building scalable marketplace platforms. The role involves designing high-performance systems, leading backend initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Backend Development & Architecture :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python & Django

- Build modular, reusable, and high-performance backend services

- Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability

2. Marketplace Systems Development :

- Develop systems for catalog management, transactions, and third-party integrations

- Optimize performance for high-volume transactional systems

3. Workflow Engine Development :

- Build and manage workflow orchestration systems

- Handle process automation, state management, and business rules execution

4. API Development & Integration :

- Design and develop RESTful APIs

- Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless API/UI integration

- Ensure API scalability, security, and versioning

5. Database Management :

- Work with PostgreSQL / MySQL for schema design and optimization

- Implement indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning

6. Cloud & DevOps :

- Deploy and manage applications on AWS

- Work with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows

7. Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead backend modules and technical design discussions

- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews

- Drive best practices in system design and development

Required Skills (Must-Have) :

- Strong expertise in Python & Django

- Experience in REST API development

- Hands-on with PostgreSQL / MySQL

- Experience in AWS Cloud

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes

- Experience in CI/CD & Git workflows

- Strong understanding of scalable system design

- Experience in marketplace / transactional systems

- Exposure to workflow engines / orchestration systems

- Leadership experience in backend teams

Good to Have :

- Frontend exposure (React/Angular)

- Experience in microservices architecture

- Knowledge of event-driven systems
