Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust applications and infrastructure for analytical and modeling platforms in a production environment. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that address investment and financial analytics requirements, particularly within the insurance and investment domains.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, data processing, financial instruments, and analytics tools, with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance full-stack applications supporting investment and financial analytics platforms.

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Implement and validate changes, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data accuracy.

- Maintain documentation for design, development, and deployment processes.

- Support ongoing production systems and resolve application or data issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, QA, and infrastructure.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation processes using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Ensure compliance with best practices in coding, performance tuning, and cloud security.

Mandatory Skills :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.

- Strong Python and SQL development experience, following production-grade patterns and

best practices.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience handling big data or investment/accounting data (bonds,

derivatives, financial instruments).

- Experience with investment analytics platforms such as Moodys RiskFrontier or Moodys

Analytics tools (market or credit risk).

- Hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automation using Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

- Experience and/or certifications in AWS or Azure Cloud environments.

- Proficiency with scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow or HCL Workload Automation.

Desired Skills :

- Strong command of front-end and back-end technologies.

- Proficiency in relational databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database design

principles.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).

- Experience working with reporting tools, data post-processing techniques, and multiple file

formats/systems.

- Strong documentation and presentation skills using Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Knowledge of insurance and investment domains will be an added advantage.
