About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Python Engineer with strong expertise in Python development and AWS Serverless technologies to build and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python programming, AWS services, and MongoDB, along with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and develop high-quality backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

- Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS services.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.

- Debug, optimize, and troubleshoot application performance and production issues.

- Write efficient MongoDB queries and optimize database performance.

- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

- Ensure application reliability, scalability, and security.

Core Skills Required :

Python (Critical) :

- 59 years of hands-on Python development experience.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Expertise in :

1. Decorators

2. Custom Iterators

3. Python best practices

4. Exception handling

5. Code optimization

AWS Serverless (Critical) :

- Hands-on experience with :

1. AWS Lambda

2. Amazon SQS

3. Amazon SNS

4. API Gateway

5. CloudFront

6. Amazon S3

MongoDB :

- Strong experience writing and debugging MongoDB queries.

- Knowledge of :

1. Aggregation pipelines

2. Joins ($lookup)

3. Indexing

4. Sorting

5. Grouping

- Ability to troubleshoot query performance within production applications.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with FastAPI, preferably as a Lambda wrapper.

- Exposure to REST API development.

- Experience working in cloud-native or microservices-based environments.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
