Position : Python FastAI Developer

Job Description :

As a Python FastAI Developer at Stalwart Innovations, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models using Python and the FastAI library.

You will work within a data science and engineering team to tackle complex problems, from data preparation and model training to evaluation and deployment into production systems.

Your expertise will directly contribute to the intelligence and effectiveness of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Model Development : Design, develop, train, and fine-tune deep learning models using Python and the

FastAI library for various tasks (e.g., computer vision, natural language processing, tabular data).

- Data Preparation : Perform data collection, cleaning, preprocessing, feature engineering, and augmentation to prepare datasets for model training.

- Experimentation & Evaluation : Conduct rigorous experimentation, evaluate model performance using relevant metrics, and iterate to improve model accuracy and efficiency.

- Deployment : Assist in deploying trained models into production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.

- Research & Innovation : Stay updated with the latest advancements in deep learning, FastAI, and related fields, and propose innovative approaches to solve business problems.

- Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software developers to integrate AI solutions into larger systems.

- Documentation : Document model architectures, training procedures, evaluation results, and deployment guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 3 to 7 years of professional experience in machine learning/deep learning development.

- Python Expertise : Strong proficiency in Python programming, including experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

- Deep Learning Frameworks: In-depth hands-on experience with FastAI and underlying frameworks like PyTorch.

- Machine Learning Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core machine learning and deep learning concepts, algorithms, and statistical modeling.

- Domain Specific Experience : Practical experience in at least one deep learning domain (e.g., Computer Vision, NLP, or Tabular Data).

- Model Evaluation : Knowledge of various model evaluation metrics and techniques for classification, regression, and other tasks.

- Version Control : Proficiency with Git.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex data and AI challenges.

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow/Keras.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for training and deploying ML models.

- Experience with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).

- Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) for data extraction.

- Understanding of containerization (Docker).

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
