We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to help build automation systems that support Arctic Wolf's Security Operations. You'll contribute to services and tools that ingest and process security telemetry, enrich alerts, automate workflows, and improve detection and response efficiency. This role is ideal for an engineer with a solid software foundation who is curious about cybersecurity and passionate about automation. You'll work with experienced engineers and security teams on projects that have real impacteliminating manual toil, scaling detection pipelines, and enabling faster, smarter investigations.


Responsibilities :


- Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows in Python, Go, JavaScript, and others for alert triage, enrichment, and ticket management.

- Develop integrations with external APIs (EDR, IAM, cloud, SaaS tools) and support scalable data flows.

- Contribute to the development of enrichment pipelines and automation playbooks (e. g., IOC lookups, user/device context, tagging).

- Participate in code reviews, write tests, and collaborate with our Quality Engineering team to ship production-ready code.

- Work with detection, incident response, and operations teams to understand their workflows and automate common use cases.

- Help develop and maintain tools that support detection, tuning, and response automation.


Requirements :


- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably with backend or automation-focused work.

- Proficient in Python, Go, JavaScript, or a similar language used in backend development and automation.

- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON data, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with containerized applications and CI/CD workflows.

- Interest in cybersecurity and building tools that support detection, investigation, or response workflows.
