Python Backend Developer - Generative AI

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with expertise in Generative AI technologies to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Python frameworks along with hands-on exposure to AI Agent frameworks and Agentic AI development patterns.

This role involves designing scalable backend systems, developing AI-powered applications, integrating Generative AI capabilities, and building robust APIs and microservices for enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks such as :

1. Django

2. Flask

3. FastAPI

- Develop and integrate Generative AI solutions into business applications and workflows.

- Work with AI Agent frameworks and implement Agentic AI building patterns.

- Design and implement microservices-based architectures for scalable and maintainable systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML engineers, frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.

- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI services into backend systems.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

- Work with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL for data modeling and management.

- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment activities.

- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Generative AI and backend technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-12 years of experience in Python backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

- Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as :

1. Django

2. Flask

3. FastAPI

- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.

- Experience with relational databases including :

1. MySQL

2. PostgreSQL

- Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.

- Experience working with microservices architecture.

- Hands-on experience with AI Agent frameworks and Agentic AI development patterns.

- Good understanding of Generative AI technologies and practical applications.

- Knowledge of integrating AI/LLM-based solutions into backend systems.

- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
