We are seeking a seasoned Python Automation Tester to join our engineering team in Bangalore, where you will take ownership of building robust, scalable testing frameworks from the ground up. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. By designing sophisticated automation strategies, you will directly influence the reliability of our products, reduce time-to-market, and significantly improve the end-user experience for our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain comprehensive automation frameworks using Python to accelerate release cycles and ensure consistent product quality.

- Develop and execute complex test scripts using PyTest to identify bottlenecks and functional defects before they reach production environments.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and seamless deployment workflows for the engineering team.

- Collaborate with developers to conduct root cause analysis on failed test cases, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term stability of the codebase.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices in automation testing to foster a culture of technical excellence and high-performance engineering.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks from scratch using Python, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient test code using PyTest, ensuring high coverage and reliability across complex application architectures.

- Strong analytical skills to translate complex business requirements into actionable test scenarios, coupled with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience working in an Agile environment, showing the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work setup in Bangalore.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5 to 10 years of professional experience in quality engineering and automation.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of working effectively within distributed teams to drive project milestones to completion.
