Python Automation Test Engineer

Mandatory Skills :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Python.

- Develop automated test scripts using PyTest and Robot Framework.

- Automate functional, regression, and smoke test cases for web applications.

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.

- Analyze business requirements and create effective test scenarios and test cases.

- Execute automated and manual test cases as required.

- Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Optimize and maintain automation scripts for improved execution efficiency.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4-6 years of experience in QA Automation.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with PyTest and Robot Framework.

- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Good understanding of Web Application Automation.

- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Familiarity with Git version control.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have :

- Selenium with Python

- API Automation (Requests/Postman)

- Docker

- SQL/Database Testing

- Cloud testing experience (AWS/Azure)

- Performance testing exposure
