Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Python Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Robot Framework, Python, Jira, Agile methodologies, and Automation Framework Creation. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks for web and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework.

- Create reusable automation components and libraries to improve testing efficiency.

- Develop and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Track, manage, and report defects using Jira.

- Analyze test results and prepare test execution reports.

- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement in testing processes.

- Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills :

- 3+ years of experience in Software Testing and Automation.

- Strong programming skills in Python.

- Hands-on experience with Robot Framework.

- Experience in Automation Framework Creation and Maintenance.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with Jira for defect tracking and project management.

- Knowledge of test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with API Automation Testing.

- Knowledge of Selenium with Python.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with Git version control.

- Understanding of SQL and database testing.
