- Oversee and manage the complete lifecycle of all IT hardware assets, including desktops, laptops, servers, peripherals, and network devices, from procurement to retirement.

Discovery and inventory :

- Utilize and manage automated discovery tools (e.g , ServiceNow Discovery, SolarWinds, etc.) to scan the network and populate the asset inventory.

- Configure and maintain discovery schedules, probes, and sensors to ensure comprehensive and accurate data collection.

- Validate and reconcile discovered asset data against procurement records to maintain a "single source of truth" in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

CMDB management :

- Work with the CMDB to ensure that hardware assets are accurately recorded as Configuration Items (CIs).

- Define and maintain CI relationships and dependency mapping to support IT service management processes.

Qualifications and skills :

- Proven experience in IT Asset Management, with a strong focus on hardware lifecycle management and automated discovery.

- Hands-on experience with an enterprise asset management platform (e.g , ServiceNow HAM, Flexera, etc.), including configuration, customization, and reporting.

- Deep understanding of automated discovery methods, including agent-based and agentless techniques.

- Experience with CMDB management and data integrity is highly desirable.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus
