Manager - Adobe Journey Optimizer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager Adobe Journey Optimizer to join our Application Technology Advisory team.

This role involves leading web development and integration initiatives, training, and guiding project teams while ensuring delivery excellence.

The position requires a strong technical foundation in Web Development, SQL/Databases, JavaScript/Python, and API/Web Services development, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

The candidate must be willing to work out of our Bangalore office during training (4- 6 weeks including Capstone project) and subsequently during live project work.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Adobe Journey Optimizer solutions for clients.

- Configure and customize AJO workflows to optimize customer engagement journeys.

- Integrate AJO with APIs, Web Services, and enterprise data sources for seamless operations.

- Drive development of web-based solutions and services using JavaScript/Python and related frameworks.

- Manage API integrations, data pipelines, and automation processes across platforms.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and performance-optimized.

- Work with SQL/Database systems to design, query, and optimize data structures.

- Collaborate with analytics teams to provide insights for campaign effectiveness and performance monitoring.

- Act as a trusted advisor for clients on application technology strategy, best practices, and roadmap planning.

- Provide technical mentorship, conduct training sessions, and support capability building within the team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Data, and Technology stakeholders.

- Lead project planning, task allocation, and quality assurance of deliverables.

- Ensure on-time project execution within budget and compliance standards.

- Manage risks, resolve escalations, and ensure client satisfaction.

Mandatory Skill Sets :

- Strong expertise in DB/SQL (queries, optimization, data handling).

- Hands-on proficiency in JavaScript OR Python programming.

- Experience in API development, Web Services integration, REST/SOAP protocols.

- 6+ years of web development experience, with exposure to scalable enterprise systems.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Prior experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) or Adobe Experience Cloud tools.

- Strong Web Development background with understanding of application architecture.

- Exposure to customer data platforms (CDP), personalization engines, or martech solutions.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for hosting/integration.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 9- 12 years of total experience with a minimum of 6 years in Web Development/Integration.

- Proven experience in leading technology advisory engagements and managing teams.

- Mandatory 4- 6 weeks of structured training in Bangalore office including Capstone project.
