Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bangalore, focusing on life insurance claims and policy management. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, working closely with stakeholders across claims, underwriting, and IT departments.

Your daily activities will involve analyzing complex business processes, documenting requirements, and collaborating with development teams to implement effective solutions. The impact of your work will directly contribute to improved claims processing efficiency, enhanced customer experience, and optimized policy administration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze existing life insurance claims and policy administration processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders across various departments, ensuring clarity and alignment.

- Develop detailed business requirements documents (BRDs) and user stories to guide the development and implementation of new features and enhancements.

- Collaborate with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful implementation.

- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

- Support the implementation of new systems and processes by providing training and documentation to end-users.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to claims processing and policy administration to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

- Contribute to the development of business cases and feasibility studies for new projects and initiatives.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into clear and concise requirements.

- Proven experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements using various techniques, including interviews, workshops, and surveys.

- Strong understanding of life insurance claims processing and policy administration workflows.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques, such as process mapping, use case diagrams, and data modeling.

- Experience with Life/400 systems is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Information Technology.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
