Publicis Sapient - Senior Software Engineer - Master Data Management

ROLE OVERVIEW :

As a Senior Software Engineer - Master Data (Enterworks), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Enterworks.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and data teams to implement data models, workflows, and integrations that support enterprise-wide data governance enabling high-quality data for operational use.

This role requires a deep understanding of MDM /PIM platforms, data modelling, and integration frameworks.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Education and Certifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- Certification in MDM tools or data management frameworks is preferred

Required Experience :

- 5-10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in Enterworks MDM

- Proven track record in implementing and maintaining data models, workflows, and business rules in Enterworks

Essential skills :

- Strong proficiency in Enterworks v10+ MDM platform including data modeling, workflows, data governance, and security rules

- Experience with REST/SOAP API development and system-to-system integrations

- Competence in SQL and data transformation tools for managing and analyzing structured data

- Familiarity with MDM architecture principles, including stewardship, hierarchy management, and golden record creation

- Good understanding of data quality frameworks, validation rules, and exception handling

- Exposure to cloud-based MDM deployments and data pipelines

Desired skills :

- Experience integrating MDM solutions with ERP(not SAP specific), CRM(not SAP or Salesforce specific), and eCommerce systems(not platform specific)

- Familiarity with MDM architecture principles, including stewardship, hierarchy management, and golden record creation

- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations as applied to master data

- Working experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Delivery and Execution :

- Develop and configure Enterworks MDM solutions to support business needs across domains such as product, vendor, and customer data

- Build and maintain integrations with upstream and downstream systems using APIs, flat files, or middleware

- Implement and manage data validation, match/merge rules, and user workflows to ensure data consistency and quality

- Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and document technical specifications for reusable development

Support and Enablement :

- Work closely with business analysts, data stewards, and architects to translate requirements into scalable MDM configurations

- Provide production support for MDM systems and participate in root cause analysis and issue resolution

- Contribute to the establishment of MDM best practices, standard templates, and code repositories

- Support data onboarding, enrichment, and governance processes with appropriate tools and automation
