Role : Senior Associate Data Engineering Level 2 (Scala + AWS/Azure)

Location : Gurgaon / Noida / Bangalore

Role Summary :

The Senior Associate L2 in Data Engineering will translate client requirements into technical designs and implement scalable data engineering solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Scala as the primary programming language and building enterprise-grade data platforms on AWS/Azure.

You will independently drive design discussions to ensure platform reliability, performance, and scalability.

Your Impact :

- Data ingestion, integration, and transformation

- Data storage and computation frameworks, performance optimization

- Analytics and visualizations enablement

- Infrastructure and cloud computing on AWS/Azure

- Data management platforms

- Build ingestion pipelines from multiple heterogeneous sources in batch and real-time

- Build scalable functionality for data analytics, search, and aggregation

Your Skills & Experience :

- Overall experience of 6 to 9 years with minimum 4 years in Big Data/Data Engineering

- Strong hands-on experience with Scala (primary) and Spark ecosystem

- Strong working knowledge of AWS/Azure services

- Hands-on experience with Hadoop stack : HDFS, Sqoop, Kafka, Pulsar, NiFi, Spark, Spark Streaming, Flink, Storm, Hive, Oozie, Airflow

- Experience building real-time data pipelines is a strong advantage

- Working knowledge of NoSQL and MPP platforms like HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience

Set Yourself Apart With :

- Experience with traditional ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, etc.) and relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres)

- Knowledge of data governance processes (security, lineage, catalog) and tools like Collibra, Alation

- Knowledge of distributed messaging frameworks like ActiveMQ / RabbitMQ / Solace and microservices architectures

- Performance tuning and optimization of large-scale data pipelines

- AWS/Azure cloud or big data certifications
