Job Title: Murex Datamart Developer

Location: Bangalore

Experience 7 to 10 years

A Murex Datamart Developer is responsible for being a senior contributor on a complex module of work in a TRM project who brings TRM business as well as deep core technology subject matter expertise to the table.

Do you have the following?

- Analysis and development of new and existing User reports, development of Interface reports

- Configuration of Datamart Transactional/Simulation/Accounting/Viewer reports & underlying Processing script within Murex.

- Datamart design and preparation of functional specification documents.

- Knowledge on how to improve the performance efficiency and data quality of DM components: Direct fields mapped within REP tables; Parser functions in Horizontal and Interactive fields' conversion to SQL/Mxfunctions in SQL request. Dynamic/Report level Filters adaption methods in SQL Requests; views/layouts.

- Knowledge on endto end analysis of M-Report in MxG Environment: - Identification of MReport type, underlying creation class, direct fields, Horizontal fields and Interactive variables, dynamic table filters, report level filters, report table relations, consolidation, duplication, group by, order by, views and layouts used in the M-Report.

- Knowledge on Migration of User and Interface reports from 2.11 to 3.1

- Unit testing the developed reports and preparing Technical specification documents and unit test cases.

- Provided on call support, working closely with 1st line support to identify and resolve both on-line and batch related issues

- Resolving issues and work along with Incident Management process

- Launcher / Application maintenance scripts (setup and reconfiguration).

- Defects/Mapping due to data model changes and how to track in JIRA. Detailed knowledge onSQL coding standards.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Creation and Configuration of Dynamic & Datamart tables.

- Datamart Feeder &, Rep table configuration.

- Batch of feeder, Batch of report, processing script configuration.

- Developed complex report in Actuate with use of stored procedure & actuate controls.

- Provide dynamic report extraction in excel.

- Responsibilities includes developing, coordinating within business analyst , running different test cycles like unit test, performance test and user acceptance test for reports.

- Analysis of business report specification and provide the technical design document.

- Configuration of simulation viewer and market data viewer.

- Configuration of Extraction, Batch of extraction.

- SQL optimization

- UNIX and SQL script writing and execution for report extraction in excel and txt format.

- Creating UNIX/Shell scripts for automation of reports.

- Datamart report Enhancement and Migration-

- PL and MTM report

- Sensitivities report

- Static report

- Audit report

- Market data Report

- Var and Stress VaR report.
