Job Description : Murex Business Analyst:


Location : Bangalore


Role Type : Full-time | Capital Markets Technology


About the Role :


We are looking for an experienced Murex Business Analyst to work on front-to-back implementation, enhancements, and support within the Murex MX.3 platform. The ideal candidate should have strong capital markets knowledge, hands-on experience with Murex modules, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.


Key Responsibilities :


- Act as the primary SME for Murex functional requirements across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office processes.


- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.


- Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment with business needs.


- Configure and validate Murex modules including :


- Trade workflows


- Market data


- Static data


- Risk and PnL


- Datamart & Reporting


- Support EOD/EOM processes and troubleshoot functional issues.


- Coordinate with traders, risk teams, operations, and technology stakeholders.


- Conduct UAT, create test scenarios, and validate functional changes.


- Drive enhancements, change requests, and new product onboarding in Murex.


- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.


Required Skills & Experience:


- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Murex MX.3 environment.


- Strong understanding of capital markets, trade lifecycle, risk management, and settlement processes.


- Hands-on experience working with :


- Murex Trade blotters


- Simulation views


- Static data and reference data


Murex Datamart (optional but preferred) :


- Knowledge of asset classes such as FX, Money Markets, Fixed Income, IRD, Credit, or Commodities.


- Experience in writing BRDs, FRDs, use cases, and functional test cases.


- Ability to understand and interpret technical concepts related to Murex workflows.


- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with global teams.


Good to Have :


- Experience with SQL for data validation.


- Exposure to DevOps, Jira, Agile methodology.


- Knowledge of regulatory reporting (MiFID, EMIR, etc.).


- Exposure to Murex integration (MXml/Interfaces).
