Role Overview :

As a Java Backend Architect, you will serve as a technical authority, driving the design and implementation of robust, scalable enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and cloud engineers, to translate complex business requirements into high-performance technical solutions.

Your day-to-day involves setting architectural standards, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring that our digital products remain resilient and secure. By bridging the gap between sophisticated backend logic and intuitive frontend experiences, you will play a pivotal role in delivering transformative solutions that impact millions of end-users globally.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect high-scale, distributed backend systems using Java to ensure optimal performance and reliability for enterprise-level clients.

- Lead the integration of complex backend services with React-based frontend architectures to create seamless, responsive user experiences.

- Implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure, leveraging services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Cosmos DB to enhance system scalability.

- Define and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across development teams to maintain high-quality, maintainable codebases.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate technical feasibility and provide strategic guidance on technology roadmaps that align with long-term business objectives.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural audits to identify bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and opportunities for performance optimization.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture with 7 - 15 years of professional experience.

- Proven ability to build and deploy scalable applications on Microsoft Azure, with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and serverless computing.

- Strong proficiency in modern frontend development using React, with a clear understanding of how to optimize data flow between the client and server.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead distributed teams effectively.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capacity to adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced, multi-location, or remote working environment.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, reflecting a strong foundation in software design principles and data structures.
