Publicis Sapient - GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience, who can effectively manage cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and provide strong production support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform, automation, monitoring, and incident management, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

- Handle L2/L3 production support, including incident management and root cause analysis

- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability

- Manage and optimize cloud resources, cost, and performance

- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform

- Work closely with development teams to enable smooth deployments and releases

- Perform log analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues

- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and best practices

- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during critical incidents

Required Skills:

- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, IAM, VPC)

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar)

- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)

- Expertise in Terraform or other IaC tools

- Strong scripting skills in Python / Shell scripting

- Experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver/Cloud Monitoring)

- Good understanding of networking concepts, security, and cloud architecture

- Experience in incident management, RCA, and SLA adherence

- Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
