Role: Public Cloud Network Specialist

Experience: 8 to 15 Years

Location: Bangalore / Pune

Job Overview :

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, AWS or Azure cloud networking, and enterprise-level networking.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures in AWS and/or Azure public cloud environments.

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and virtual), including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention profiles.

- Implement and maintain cloud networking components such as VPC/VNet, subnets, route tables, gateways, load balancers, and peering.

- Ensure secure connectivity between on-premise infrastructure and cloud using VPNs, ExpressRoute, or Direct Connect.

- Monitor network performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

- Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to ensure network designs meet business and compliance requirements.

- Support network migrations from on-premise to cloud environments.

- Perform root cause analysis and provide permanent fixes for recurring network issues.

- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

- Participate in change management, incident management, and on-call support when required.

Reqd Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall (configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades).

- Proven experience in AWS or Azure cloud networking (VPC/VNet, security groups, NACLs, routing).

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, routing & switching.

- Experience with VPN technologies, IPSec tunnels, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

- Good exposure to network security best practices in public cloud environments.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex network and firewall-related issues across hybrid setups.
