Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Flex Developer with strong expertise in PTC FlexPLM to design, develop, customize, and support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FlexPLM development, Java customization, system integrations, and migration projects within the retail, apparel, footwear, fashion, or consumer products industry. You will work closely with business users, functional consultants, and global development teams to deliver scalable PLM solutions that streamline product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and customize solutions within the PTC FlexPLM platform.

- Develop Java-based customizations, extensions, workflows, and business logic for FlexPLM.

- Configure FlexPLM modules including Product, Material, Color, Specification, Sourcing, Vendor, and Cost Management.

- Develop custom UI components, reports, validations, and business processes based on business requirements.

- Participate in end-to-end FlexPLM implementation, enhancement, and upgrade projects.

- Lead or contribute to FlexPLM migration activities, including data migration strategy, mapping, validation, execution, and reconciliation.

- Develop and maintain integrations between FlexPLM and enterprise systems such as ERP, SCM, CRM, and other third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

- Create technical design documents, deployment guides, and migration documentation.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in PTC FlexPLM development.

- Strong programming experience in Java and J2EE technologies.

- Experience customizing FlexPLM using Java APIs and configuration tools.

- Strong understanding of FlexPLM architecture, object model, workflows, lifecycle management, and product data management.

- Hands-on experience in at least one complete FlexPLM migration project from planning through production deployment.

- Experience with data migration, ETL processes, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.

- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Experience developing REST and SOAP-based integrations.

- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

Domain Expertise:

- Experience in any of the following industries is mandatory:

- Knowledge of product lifecycle processes including merchandising, product development, sourcing, costing, seasonal planning, and vendor collaboration is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Knowledge of Windchill or other PLM platforms is an advantage.

- Familiarity with cloud deployment and DevOps practices.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.

- Willingness to work with overlapping US Central Time (CST) business hours when required.
