PSOT Engineer - Copilot

Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned and innovative PSOT (Process, Scripting, Optimization, and Tools) Engineer to join our team in Pune.

This is a high-impact technical role requiring a blend of deep scripting/automation expertise, a strong focus on process improvement, and architectural acumen, particularly within the Microsoft Organization and leveraging cutting-edge tools like Copilot and Copilot Studio.

Job Location & Experience :

Location : Pune.

Experience : Approximately 8 Years.

Key Requirements & Technical Skills :

- Python Expertise : Deep proficiency in Python for complex scripting, automation, system integration, and tool development.

- Microsoft Ecosystem Focus : Extensive working experience and familiarity with the overall Microsoft Organization environment, infrastructure, and services.

Microsoft Automation & Low-Code :

- Expertise in PowerShell for system administration, configuration management, and complex automation tasks.

- Hands-on experience with Power Automate for designing and deploying workflow automation and process orchestration across various platforms.

Generative AI/Copilot : Practical experience with :

- Copilot : Utilizing and integrating Microsoft Copilot (or similar generative AI tools) into internal workflows and systems.

- Copilot Studio : Designing, building, and customizing conversational AI experiences (bots/assistants) to streamline business processes.

- DevOps & Test Automation : Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and implementing robust Test Automation frameworks for tools and scripts.

Responsibilities :

I. Architecture & System Design

- System Architecture : Demonstrate the ability to architect complex systems and end-to-end automation solutions, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable.

- Technology Leadership : Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools and technologies, specifically within the Microsoft and AI space (Copilot, Power Platform), to enhance operational efficiency.

II. Process Engineering & Optimization

- Process Engineering Work : Take ownership of identifying and analyzing current operational processes (identifying gaps).

- Optimization : Design and implement process improvements to eliminate manual intervention, reduce cycle times, and increase overall system reliability.

III. Automation & Tool Development

- Process Automation and Scripting : Develop, deploy, and maintain complex automation scripts and tools using Python and PowerShell to manage infrastructure, deployments, and security controls.

- Low-Code/No-Code Solutions : Leverage Power Automate and other Power Platform tools to quickly deliver business process automation solutions.

- Conversational AI Integration : Utilize Copilot Studio to build and integrate intelligent conversational interfaces that simplify user interaction with automated processes.

IV. Collaboration & Quality Assurance

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Product) to understand automation needs and deployment requirements.

- Ensure all developed scripts, tools, and processes are thoroughly documented and tested using appropriate DevOps and Test Automation practices.

Qualifications & Soft Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, automation, or a related technical role.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
