Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced PSA Engineer (Reliance) to join a leading IT organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Electric Transmission EMS/SCADA implementation and experience working with GE Reliance (XA21) or equivalent SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement and support Electric Transmission EMS/SCADA systems.

- Preferably experienced in GE Reliance (XA21) or equivalent SCADA solutions from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider, etc.

- Strong understanding of Electric SCADA applications, Power DMS, and TMS.

- Perform data modeling and customization of Network or Transmission Applications, preferably Reliance.

- Manage system configuration, including installation of OS patches and 3rd-party software (Oracle, NetApp, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with GitHub and ClearCase for version control.

- Perform maintenance on live customer systems, including installation of fixes and updates.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in real-time or mission-critical systems.

- Utilize C, Java, and Oracle Database for customization and development tasks.

- Proficient in SQL, Shell scripting, and log interpretation for debugging.

- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with internal teams and clients.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in EMS/SCADA implementation.

- Proficiency with LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.

- Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming, Oracle, and System Administration.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).

- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Outlook.

- Prior experience in Reliance Grid Apps domain is an added advantage.
