We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Prompt Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for large language models (LLMs) to deliver intelligent, human-like conversational experiences. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and product teams to deliver robust NLP-driven solutions that power our conversational AI capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering techniques, and conversational AI platforms, with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, test, and optimize high-quality prompts for LLMs across a variety of tasks and domains.

- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate prompts into intelligent conversational systems.

- Evaluate the performance of prompt-based models and implement strategies to improve relevance, context retention, and user engagement.

- Work with scripting languages (e.g., Python or JavaScript) to automate prompt testing and data handling workflows.

- Apply best practices in prompt design for multi-turn dialogues, structured data input, and context-driven responses.

- Collaborate on the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, utilizing vector databases and embeddings for enhanced LLM responses.

- Support multilingual and voice-based conversational strategies, including IVR flows and voice bot design, where applicable.

- Continuously stay updated on advancements in LLM technologies, prompt engineering methodologies, and NLP best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Prompt Engineer or working with LLM/NLP applications.

- Demonstrated expertise in prompt crafting, evaluation, and optimization across different LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA, etc.).

- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for scripting, testing, and automation tasks.

- Working knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and refine prompt performance.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey technical information clearly.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working with enterprise-level applications or platforms.

- Familiarity with Kore.ai conversational AI platform (added advantage).

- Exposure to IVR, voice bot design, and multilingual prompt engineering.

- Educational background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computational Linguistics, or related fields.
