Project Manager - Payments & Cards Domain

Were seeking a dynamic Project Manager with deep expertise in cards and payments, particularly within the GCC banking ecosystem.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience managing strategic digital programs across debit, credit, and commercial card platforms.

Must-Have Domain Expertise :

Card Programs : Debit, Credit, Prepaid, Commercial Cards

Payments Technology : Tokenization, Payment Orchestration, Mobile Banking Architecture

Project Management : BRDs, user journeys, UAT, vendor coordination

Stakeholder Engagement : PMO, IT, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Visa/Mastercard

Regulatory Knowledge : Strong grasp of QCB/GCC banking regulations & compliance

Digital Transformation : Mobile app revamp, automation, digital onboarding

Your Core Responsibilities :

As a Payments & Cards Project Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the digital banking landscape in Qatar, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver innovative card and payment solutions.

- Deliver strategic digital transformation projects for leading Qatari banks

- Oversee end-to-end project lifecyclefrom requirements gathering (BRDs) to go-live

- Ensure strict adherence to QCB and international card scheme compliance standards

- Collaborate with internal teams (business, IT, compliance) and external partners (Visa, Mastercard, vendors)

- Manage vendor relationships, contract deliverables, and technical integration timelines

- Lead UAT planning, defect triage, and production readiness assessments

- Drive initiatives around customer experience enhancements and digital enablement

- Prepare project documentation : training guides, SOPs, and post-launch reports

- Support change management efforts tied to digital channels and card innovations

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

- 5 to 8 years of relevant project management experience within the banking or fintech sector

- Proven track record of successfully delivering Visa and Mastercard initiatives, including card system integrations

- Strong familiarity with the GCC banking landscape, with specific experience navigating QCB regulatory requirements

- Deep understanding of modern payment technologies including payment architecture, tokenization, and payment orchestration

- Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence

- Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across business, IT, compliance, and external vendors

- Excellent communication and coordination skills to drive cross-functional project success

- Fluent in English (spoken and written)

- Arabic language skills are a strong advantage and preferred
