Role Overview :

The Project Manager - Java will be responsible for leading and managing Java-based software development projects from initiation to completion. This role involves collaborating closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to define project scope, create project plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. The Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that projects align with business objectives and deliver tangible value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, to guide project execution.

- Manage project execution, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure effective coordination and alignment.

- Monitor project performance, analyze metrics, and implement corrective actions to improve project outcomes and efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to maintain consistency and quality across projects.

- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure compliance with financial guidelines to maintain fiscal responsibility.

- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and potential risks.

- Manage and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex software development projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

- Strong understanding of Java, Spring framework, and related technologies.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment in Trivandrum/Thiruvananthapuram.
