Project Manager - IT Infrastructure

Location : Chennai

Key Responsibilities :

- Oversee IT procurement, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and delivery management.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and

schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

- Collaborate with Auto OEMs, enterprise clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth

execution and alignment with business goals.

- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring proactive

mitigation and clear communication.

- Coordinate across multi-national and multi-cultural teams, fostering effective collaboration

and accountability.

- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance to ensure adherence to SLAs and contract

obligations.

- Ensure infrastructure modernization initiatives align with corporate IT strategies and

compliance standards.

- Provide regular project status reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

- Drive continuous improvement in project execution, governance, and stakeholder

satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects (upgrades, migrations, data centers, networks, cloud, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of IT procurement, vendor negotiation, and contract management.

- Hands-on delivery experience in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and

modernization programs.

- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, networking, servers, storage, and cloud

infrastructure.

- Experience managing projects across multi-national and cross-functional teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or equivalent).

- Ability to balance technical understanding with business priorities and deliver measurable

outcomes.
