Project Manager - IAM Authentication & Access Controls

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a strong focus on Authentication and Access Controls, to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of proven experience managing complex, global IAM projects, expertise in various delivery methodologies, and exceptional leadership skills. This is an Authentication-heavy IAM role requiring high autonomy and end-to-end project delivery ownership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Delivery & Execution :

- End-to-End Ownership : Take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and closure of multiple, simultaneous IAM project tracks, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.

- Methodology Expertise : Successfully manage projects using Hybrid, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies, selecting and tailoring the approach based on project needs and organizational standards.

- Change Management : Lead strong change management processes, including detailed analysis, rigorous testing, and phased deployment of new IAM authentication and access control solutions.

- Tool Proficiency : Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab to track progress, manage scope, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

2. IAM Authentication & Access Control Focus :

- Domain Expertise : Apply deep domain knowledge in IAM Authentication components, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and various access control mechanisms.

- Workflow Management : Drive projects centered on enhancing and optimizing user authentication and access control workflows across the enterprise landscape.

- Operational Understanding : Demonstrate a thorough understanding of operational IAM processes to ensure new deployments integrate smoothly with existing run books and support structures.

3. Communication & Leadership :

- Senior Stakeholder Communication : Maintain strong and effective communication with senior managers and executive stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and timely updates on project status, risks, and critical decisions.

- Team Leadership : Guide and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of accountability and delivery focus.

- Autonomy & Ownership : Operate with high autonomy and ownership, proactively identifying obstacles, proposing solutions, and making informed decisions to keep projects moving forward.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Experience : Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Project Management, with a significant portion dedicated to the IAM/Cybersecurity domain.

Technical Knowledge :

- In-depth domain knowledge of IAM Authentication standards and technologies (e.g., MFA, SSO protocols like OAuth/OIDC/SAML, privileged access management).

- Familiarity with the use and administration of collaboration tools like GitLab, Confluence, and Jira.

- Solid grasp of operational IAM processes and lifecycle management.

Project Delivery :

- Proven expertise in managing projects using Hybrid, Agile, and Waterfall delivery models.

- Demonstrated experience with comprehensive change management and end-to-end delivery of complex technical solutions.

Soft Skills :

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to run multiple tracks simultaneously and manage competing priorities effectively.
