Project Manager/Delivery Manager - Agile Methodologies

About the Opportunity :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end project execution across global software delivery programs.

The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with strong leadership in project governance, stakeholder communication, and delivery excellence.

This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational rigor managing cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, controlling budgets, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of technology initiatives.

You will collaborate with senior business stakeholders across regions to align project outcomes with organizational goals, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and measurable business value.

What Youll Do :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and software projects across multiple geographies.

- Manage full project lifecycle including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and performance tracking.

- Drive Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, and daily stand-ups, while ensuring alignment with business priorities.

- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery of projects.

- Build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with clients, business sponsors, and leadership teams.

- Track project health metrics delivery progress, quality indicators, financial performance, and team velocity.

- Proactively identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure escalation paths are clearly defined.

- Oversee resource allocation, vendor coordination, and team productivity across projects.

- Drive continuous improvement through post-project retrospectives, lessons learned, and process refinements.

- Prepare and deliver executive reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for internal and client presentations.

What You Bring :

- 7 to 12 years of experience managing IT/software delivery projects in mid to large-scale environments.

- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall delivery models with proven ability to tailor methodologies based on project requirements.

- Experience with project planning tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or Asana.

- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for technology initiatives.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

- Proven record of delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern delivery models for software projects.

- Ability to manage distributed teams and vendors across different time zones.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications preferred.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience managing cloud transformation, AI/ML, or data engineering projects.

- Exposure to global client delivery models, including nearshore and offshore coordination.

- Familiarity with contract management, SLAs, and vendor governance.

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, or dashboarding tools for delivery reporting.

- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, CSM, or SAFe Agilist will be an advantage
