Project Manager : Data Governance & MDM Implementation

We are looking for a Project Manager who can run demanding enterprise implementations end to end, keep difficult clients anchored, bring genuine project management discipline into our delivery team, and use AI tools to manage more with less.

What You Will Do :

Delivery

- Lead end-to-end implementation of our MDM and data governance platform across enterprise clients globally.

- Own the project plan, milestones, and phase gate sign-offs from kick-off through to hypercare.

- Coordinate internal engineering teams and customer IT stakeholders across integrations, configuration, and UAT.

- Guide technical design discussions covering Java/JSP frameworks, REST APIs, and middleware integrations.

- Identify risks early, surface them with a proposed resolution

Customer Management :

- Own the client relationship through the full delivery lifecycle including when it gets difficult.

- Navigate scope disputes, escalations, and senior stakeholder pressure with composure and structure.

- You de-escalate without compromising quality or throwing the team under the bus.

- Set expectations in writing from Day 1: scope boundaries, change request process, success definition.

No surprises :

- Translate technical constraints into business language for the CXO and business requirements into precise specs for engineers.

- End every engagement with a customer willing to be referenced for the next one.

Building PM Discipline in the Team

- Introduce and embed structured PM practices- risk registers, RAID logs, change control, phase gate reviews in a way that helps the team rather than creating overhead.

- Build delivery playbooks and templates so each implementation makes the next one faster.

- Coach junior team members on client communication, escalation handling, and delivery discipline.

- Build PM capability in the organisation, not just own it yourself.

- Make project status visible at all times to the team, to leadership, and to the client without anyone needing to ask.

AI-Augmented Delivery :

- Use AI tools- coding assistants, documentation automation, test support as genuine force multipliers

- Automate status reports, meeting minutes, risk logs, and client documentation so the team spends time on decisions, not formatting.

- Build repeatable AI-assisted delivery workflows the whole team can follow and codify the productivity gain, so it scales beyond individual.

What We Are Looking For :

- 8+ years of project management experience, including 4+ years delivering MDM or data governance implementations.

- Demonstrated experience managing difficult enterprise customers escalations, scope disputes, executive pressure with outcomes you can speak to specifically.

- Track record of introducing PM structure into a delivery team, not just following a framework someone else built.

- Hands-on familiarity with AI productivity tools and a clear point of view on how they change what a lean team can deliver.

- Strong exposure to global clients in the US, Middle East, or Australia.

- Working knowledge of Java/JSP and system integration patterns (REST APIs, middleware).

- Excellent English communication written and verbal at both technical and executive levels.

- Engineering or Computer Science degree.

PMP or equivalent a plus, but less important than evidence of structured delivery in practice.
