Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex data engineering projects involving Python and related technologies.

- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligning with business objectives and client expectations.

- Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, providing technical and strategic guidance.

- Oversee the development of ETL/data pipelines, data lakehouse solutions, and cloud-native data warehouses, ensuring best practices in data quality, storage, and security.

- Serve as the main point of communication between clients and internal teams, clarifying technical details and translating requirements.

- Manage project timelines, resources, budgets, and risks to ensure successful delivery.

- Conduct regular project meetings, status updates, and post-project evaluations to continuously enhance delivery excellence.

- Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years in data engineering utilizing Python.

- Proven experience in managing technical teams and complex project lifecycles.

- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks (ETL, data pipelines, cloud data platforms).

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum).

Preferred Qualifications

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.

- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in technical consulting or solution delivery.

- Familiarity with tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, and Azure Synapse is a plus.
