Job Summary

The Project Manager Data Analytics oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics and data-driven projects. This role partners with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and data scientists to define project scope, translate business requirements into technical deliverables, and ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Execution :

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for data analytics initiatives.

- Develop detailed project plans, requirements documentation, roadmaps, and resource allocations.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, BI, Data Science, Product, IT).

- Track project progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful delivery.

Stakeholder Management :

- Serve as the main point of contact between business teams and analytics teams.

- Lead requirement-gathering sessions and translate business problems into data/analytics solutions.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular status reports and dashboards.

Data & Analytics Oversight :

- Ensure proper data governance, quality checks, and validation processes.

- Support the design and implementation of dashboards, reports, predictive models, and analytics

frameworks.

- Understand technical concepts related to data pipelines, data warehousing, BI tools, and analytics methodologies.

Process Improvement :

- Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization across data systems and workflows.

- Implement documentation standards and knowledge management practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

- 3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably in data analytics or technology environments.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple analytics projects simultaneously.

- Strong understanding of data analytics, data pipelines, ETL, data warehousing, visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).

- Experience with SQL, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or big data tools is a plus.

- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project).

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies; certifications are a plus (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.

- Ability to work with technical and non-technical teams.
