Project Manager - Data Analytics

Job Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

- Project Leadership : Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of data science and data engineering projects, including scope definition, planning, execution, and monitoring. Ensure timely and successful delivery of data-driven solutions that meet client expectations.

- Client Relationship Management : Serve as the key point of contact for clients, understanding

their business challenges and data needs. Translate client requirements into actionable insights and project deliverables.

- Team Coordination : Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

Facilitate communication and ensure all teams are aligned on project goals and timelines.

- Solution Design and Strategy : Collaborate with technical experts to design data science and engineering solutions that address the business problems at hand. Ensure the solutions are scalable, practical, and aligned with the clients goals.

- Analytics Translation : Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex data science and engineering concepts into understandable terms for non-technical audiences. Provide clear, actionable insights to the client.

- Stakeholder Management : Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business teams, and external vendors. Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, risks, and achievements.

- Risk Management : Identify potential risks or roadblocks early in the project lifecycle and proactively address them. Ensure that projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline.

- Quality Assurance : Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of data-driven solutions delivered to clients. Monitor project progress and quality metrics to ensure high standards are maintained.

- Business Development : Participate in scoping and proposal writing for new data science and engineering projects.

- Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with industry trends in data science and engineering, and share insights with the team to drive innovation and continuous improvement in project execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven track record of successfully delivering data analytics projects.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong

relationships.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).

- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Skills :

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
