Job Role : ASPICE Project Manager (Automotive)
Experience : 5 to 10 Years
Location : Chennai
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end delivery of embedded automotive projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong communication for project planning, updates, and issue resolution.
- Drive cross-functional coordination between hardware, software, and testing teams throughout the SDLC.
- Apply Agile (Scrum) practices to manage project execution, ensuring sprint deliverables and team alignment.
- Ensure ASPICE compliance across all project phases; support assessments and audits.
- Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests, implementing timely mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain project plans using tools like Microsoft Project, Gantter, or equivalent.
- Utilize JIRA, GitLab, and Confluence for tracking progress, issues, and documentation.
- Lead regular project reviews with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Support effort estimation, resource planning, and stakeholder communication during proposal and project planning phases.
- Organize and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure product development targets are met on schedule and within resources.
- Develop and track project execution metrics, define priorities, and manage risks.
- Manage stakeholders with timely and objective communication and reporting.
- Lead multi-site, multi-discipline project teams to successful program completion.
Required Skills & Experience :
- ASPICE Provisional Assessor certification or experience with ASPICE Level 2/3 projects.
- Hands-on experience managing embedded systems projects (ECUs, Infotainment, ADAS, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Automotive SPICE standards and assessment models.
- Proven track record in Agile methodologies (Scrum).
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, particularly in embedded software and hardware integration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GitLab, Microsoft Project, Gantter.
- Strong leadership, team management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Exposure to functional safety standards (ISO 26262) is a plus.
- Experience with AUTOSAR-based development is an added advantage.
