Project Manager with AWS

Role Overview :

As a Project Manager at Cortex Consultants, you will be instrumental in delivering cutting-edge enterprise applications. This hands-on role requires expertise in Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies, exceptional stakeholder communication, proactive risk management, and clear leadership reporting. You will be responsible for orchestrating seamless coordination across various cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.

Location : Chennai (Preferred)

Notice Period : Immediate to 20 Days

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of full-stack enterprise application projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Implement and adapt Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies to suit project needs and team dynamics.

- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement and accountability.

- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and challenges to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimize impact.

- Manage project resources effectively, including allocation, tracking, and optimization.

- Oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring best practices are followed.

- Collaborate closely with development teams, understanding technical aspects related to Java, React.js, and MySQL.

- Leverage your understanding of AWS cloud services to guide technical teams and ensure scalable and robust solutions.

- Utilize project management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps for tracking, reporting, and workflow management.

- Demonstrate awareness and experience with CI/CD pipelines to support efficient development and deployment processes.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Must-Have Skills :

- Project Management Expertise : Extensive experience in managing projects using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

- Technical Acumen : Strong understanding of Java, React.js, and MySQL to effectively communicate with development teams.

- Cloud Knowledge : Solid understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

- DevOps Tools : Proficiency with JIRA or Azure DevOps for project tracking, issue management, and reporting.

- CI/CD Awareness : Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.

- SDLC Mastery : Comprehensive understanding and practical experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.

- Planning & Management : Proven track record in sprint planning, risk management, and resource management.

- Communication & Leadership : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
