The Job :

In this role, you will contribute to ensuring the development performance and high product quality of our E-Commerce platform. Leveraging your strong communication skills, IT literacy, and project management abilities, you will facilitate consensus among various stakeholders, including Software Engineers (SWEs), Product Managers (PMs), Customer Support, and Designers. Furthermore, you will drive business success by improving development and operational processes and maximizing team momentum.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain development schedules based on roadmaps and epics.

- Plan and execute 1-2 week development sprints, and report on the outcomes.

- Define the "Definition of Done" for backlog tasks and create tickets for each sprint.

- Provide initial response to inquiries from stakeholders and system incidents.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including Software Engineers (SWEs), Product Managers (PMs), and Customer Support.

- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive development, productivity, and operations improvements.

Ideal Candidate :

Basic Qualifications :

- You have fluent Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or higher.

- You have English proficiency at CEFR B1 or IELTS 5.5 level or higher (English is the common language within the development team).

- You can define or explain system specifications based on business requirements.

- You have experience managing tasks and schedules spanning two weeks or longer using tools such as ClickUp or Jira.

- You are proficient in document creation skills using Notion, Google Docs, and Spreadsheets.

- You have experience prioritizing tasks with Business Development (BizDev), Software Engineers (SWEs), and Product Managers (PMs).

- You have a strong ability to manage schedules rigorously.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience visualizing the development team's productivity through KPI setting, measuring product effectiveness post-release, and driving improvements.

- Monitoring various post-release product KPIs such as Conversion Rate and Retention Rate.

- Experience as an Agile Scrum Master.

- Background as a Software Engineer (SWE) or UI/UX Designer.

- Experience with data analysis and table definition using SQL.

- Experience mentoring junior Project Managers or IT Communicators.
