Description : Project Manager Oracle Fusion

Role Summary :


We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with specialized expertise in Oracle Fusion to lead complex, enterprise-grade ERP implementations. In this high-impact role, you will own the end-to-end project lifecyclefrom initial scoping and resource planning to go-live and post-production support. You will act as the primary liaison between technical consultants, functional leads, and executive stakeholders, ensuring that all Oracle-based deliverables are executed on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Oracles cloud architecture, risk mitigation strategies, and the nuances of cross-functional team management in a dedicated on-site environment. Experience with legacy transitions from Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) will be considered a significant strategic advantage.


Responsibilities :


- Oracle Fusion Implementation Lead : Direct the planning and execution of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP projects, ensuring strict adherence to implementation methodologies (OUM/AIM).


- Stakeholder Orchestration : Manage communication and expectations across a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-suite executives, business process owners, and technical vendors.


- Timeline & Milestone Management : Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking critical path activities and ensuring zero-latency in milestone achievement.


- Risk & Issue Mitigation : Proactively identify, document, and resolve project risks and technical bottlenecks to prevent scope creep and budget overruns.


- Cross-Functional Coordination : Synchronize efforts between finance, HR, supply chain, and IT departments to ensure a seamless integrated solution design.


- Budget & Resource Governance : Oversee project financials and resource allocation, optimizing the deployment of both internal teams and external consultants.


- UAT & Quality Assurance : Lead the strategy for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT), validating that the Fusion environment meets all functional requirements.


- EBS-to-Fusion Transition Support : Leverage knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to facilitate data migration and process mapping for clients moving from on-premise to cloud.


- Change Management & Training : Coordinate the rollout of end-user training and change management initiatives to ensure high platform adoption across the organization.


- Reporting & Documentation : Provide regular executive-level status reports, maintaining exhaustive documentation of project artifacts, decisions, and sign-offs.


Technical Requirements :


- Oracle Fusion Mastery : 7+ years of experience in project management with at least 3 to 4 years specifically focused on Oracle Fusion (Cloud) implementations.


- ERP Project Lifecycle : Proven track record of delivering at least 2 full-cycle enterprise ERP implementations from inception to hypercare.


- Methodology Proficiency : Deep familiarity with Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or similar agile/waterfall project management frameworks (PMP/PRINCE2).


- Operational Readiness : Ability to work from the Mumbai office 5 days a week, providing high-touch leadership to on-site teams.


- Technical Literacy : Functional understanding of Oracle Fusion modules (Financials, SCM, or HCM) and integration concepts.


Preferred Skills :


- Oracle EBS Knowledge : Prior experience (67 months or more) with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) to aid in legacy system assessments and migrations.


- Leadership Excellence : Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.


- Analytical Problem Solving : Exceptional skills in deconstructing complex technical constraints into manageable project tasks.


- Communication Mastery : Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical Oracle jargon into business-value language.


- Conflict Resolution : Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and resolve competing priorities with diplomacy and technical logic.
