Job Title : Project Lead Data Lakehouse Platform

Experience : 10+ years

Role Overview :

We are looking for a project Lead to support the PMO function for a Data Lakehouse platform. The role requires strong hands-on experience in on-prem infrastructure, platform deployment, and coordination across technology, security, and operations teams. The incumbent will play a key role by working with the client and the SI (implementation partner).

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the primary interface between business (client) and SI (implementation partner) / OEMs

- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams on data ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption layers

- Ensure alignment with business requirements, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements (especially in BFSI context)

- Track milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively mitigate risks/issues

- Support vendor coordination, performance tracking, and deliverable validation

- Prepare executive-level dashboards, status reports, and steering committee updates

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in IT program/project management, preferably in BFSI

- Strong understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts (e.g., data ingestion, metadata, governance, distributed processing)

- Experience in managing on-prem or hybrid data platforms (e.g., Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Presto/Trino, Iceberg/Delta)

- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-vendor programs

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

- Familiarity with data governance, security frameworks, and regulatory expectations in banking

- PMP / PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred

Preferred Attributes :

- Prior experience with Public Sector / Government banking environments

- Ability to balance technical depth with business outcomes good communication is extremely important
