Project Engineer - IT Infrastructure

We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer with over 7 years of experience to lead and deliver complex IT infrastructure and application projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, combined with project coordination skills, to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan, coordinate, and manage IT projects across infrastructure, software, and enterprise systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and develop detailed project plans

- Oversee hardware/software rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and system integrations

- Monitor project execution, track milestones, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and timeline

- Manage vendor coordination, procurement, and service-level agreements (SLAs)

- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for technical and operational issues

- Ensure compliance with IT security, data privacy, and regulatory standards

- Maintain clear project documentation, status reports, and post-implementation reviews

- Support internal stakeholders with technical guidance and project updates

- Facilitate regular project meetings, resolve issues, and escalate where necessary

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project engineering/management

- Hands-on understanding of networking, servers, cloud services (AWS/Azure), cybersecurity, and enterprise IT tools

- Experience in managing end-to-end IT implementations, system migrations, or infrastructure deployments

- Strong grasp of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies

- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, Trello)

- Solid knowledge of change management, ITIL processes, and configuration management

- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills

- Proven track record in handling multi-stakeholder, cross-functional IT projects

Nice to Have :

- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum certification

- Experience with cloud-based systems, virtualization, or DevOps pipelines

- Familiarity with IT asset management, helpdesk platforms, and compliance audits

- Background in sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, or telecom

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
