Program Manager - DevOps

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee and drive complex DevOps and IT transformation initiatives. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, aligning business objectives with technical execution, ensuring timely delivery of DevOps programs, and fostering a culture of automation, scalability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the roadmap for DevOps transformation initiatives across multiple IT projects.

- Align program goals with organizational objectives, ensuring measurable business outcomes.

- Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and success metrics for DevOps programs.

Project & Delivery Management :

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale DevOps projects.

- Manage scope, schedules, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.

- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership.

- Provide clear communication and reporting on program progress, risks, and results.

- Drive consensus among technical and business teams.

DevOps & IT Enablement :

- Oversee implementation of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and automation frameworks.

- Ensure adoption of cloud-native solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and security best practices.

- Champion site reliability engineering (SRE) principles, operational excellence, and continuous delivery culture.

Team Leadership & Coaching :

- Guide and mentor project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams.

- Foster collaboration between development, QA, operations, and security teams.

- Encourage innovation, knowledge-sharing, and process optimization.

Required Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

- Proven track record in managing enterprise-scale IT modernization or transformation projects.

- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies.

- Experience with budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of security, compliance, and IT governance frameworks.

- Experience working in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
