Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Production Support / Application Support Lead to oversee mission-critical banking applications and ensure their smooth functioning, performance, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Core Banking Systems (Flexcube/Finacle), digital channels (UPI, Mobile/Internet Banking, ATM Switch), and strong leadership in incident, change, and problem management.

This role requires a seasoned professional capable of driving system stability, compliance alignment (RBI, PCI DSS, ISO 27001), and high availability across databases, applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive incident, problem, and change management to minimize downtime and ensure SLA adherence.

- Oversee database administration (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL) including upgrades, patch management, performance tuning, and compliance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Infrastructure, Network, InfoSec, Server) for end-to-end issue resolution.

- Manage data migrations, archival systems, and audit-ready solutions as per RBI and internal compliance requirements.

- Ensure application readiness during fiscal closing and regulatory reporting with zero downtime.

- Lead DR (Disaster Recovery) drills, high-availability planning, and performance optimization initiatives.

- Mentor and guide support engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability.

- Coordinate with vendors and partners for application upgrades, integrations, and support.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Proven expertise in Application & Production Support for mission-critical banking applications.

- Strong knowledge of Core Banking Systems (Flexcube / Finacle) and Digital Banking Platforms (UPI, Internet & Mobile Banking, ATM Switch).

- Hands-on experience with Database Administration (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).

- Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, and Infrastructure Planning.

- Familiarity with Regulatory Compliance (RBI guidelines, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, DPDP Act).

- Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Exposure to Automation and Archival Management Systems will be an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering / Technology (preferred : Electronics, Computer Science, or related).

- Professional Certifications : CISA, Oracle Certified Professional, ITIL (preferred).

- 15 - 20+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role in Production / Application Support.
