Role Summary :


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner (PO) with a strong background in Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) to drive the design, implementation, and enhancement of our TPM solutions. The PO will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to ensure that TPM capabilities are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle of TPM/TPO solutions from concept to delivery and continuous improvement.

- Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements related to trade promotions, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams.

- Translate business requirements into user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with cross-functional Agile teams.

- Lead the implementation and optimization of TPM platforms, including tools like Xtel TPM, Salesforce TPM, and Visualfabriq.

- Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

- Conduct regular backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and product demos in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, and ensure high-quality product delivery.

- Monitor post-deployment performance of trade promotion processes and drive continuous enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and ROI analysis.

- Work with data analysts to provide insights into promotion effectiveness, ROI tracking, and fund utilization.

- Educate and train internal teams and stakeholders on new TPM features, updates, and process changes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, specifically working with TPM implementations.

- Proven experience in working with or implementing TPM products like :

a. Xtel TPM (Kantar)

b. Salesforce TPM

c. Visualfabriq

- In-depth understanding of Trade Promotion lifecycle, including planning, fund management, execution, post-event analysis, and optimization.

- Familiarity with TPO concepts for improving promotional effectiveness.

- Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), including sprint planning, backlog management, and ceremonies.

- Experience working in CPG, FMCG, or Retail industries with a focus on sales and marketing analytics.

Nice to Have :

- Certifications : Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe PO/PM

- Experience in data analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx for TPM reporting

- Working knowledge of SAP or Salesforce ecosystem

- Experience coordinating with global stakeholders across geographies and time zones
