Role Overview :
We are looking for a Product Manager who will own core messaging experiences and drive product strategy from discovery to delivery. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, and Growth teams to build features that improve engagement, retention, and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Strategy & Roadmap :
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for messaging features
- Identify user problems and translate them into clear product requirements
- Prioritize features based on impact, effort, and business goals
Execution & Delivery :
- Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality features
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch
User Experience & Growth
- Improve chat, groups, calls, onboarding, and notification experiences
- Optimize funnels for activation, engagement, and retention
- Drive adoption of new and existing features
Data & Insights :
- Define and track key metrics (DAU, MAU, retention, engagement)
- Use data, experiments, and user feedback to make decisions
- Analyze feature performance and iterate based on insights
Stakeholder Management :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Communicate roadmap, progress, and outcomes clearly
- Align teams on priorities and timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management
- Experience working on B2C consumer apps
- Strong understanding of product discovery, delivery, and analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate user needs into actionable requirements
- Comfort working in fast-paced, agile environments
Good to Have :
- Experience with Messaging, Social Media, or Real-time platforms
- Familiarity with event-based analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase)
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation
- Technical understanding of APIs, backend systems, and mobile platforms
- Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) models

- Overall product health metrics
